The Ingredients

  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1lb lean ground beef
  • 14.5oz can diced tomatoes with jalapenos
  • 10.5oz can chickpeas, drained
  • 10.5oz can black beans, drained
  • 10.5 oz can kidney beans, drained
  • 10.5oz can low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1/4tsp pepper
  • 1/4tsp cumin
  • 1/8tsp cayenne
  • 1/2tsp chili powder

The Steps

  • Heat oil on medium
  • Add onion and sauté for 5 minutes
  • Add beef and brown it
  • Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes
