The Ingredients

  • 3lb lean chuck roast
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 2 gloves of garlic
  • 10.5oz can of tomato soup
  • 1/4c brown sugar
  • 2tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1tbsp lemon juice
  • 1tbsp dijon mustard
  • salt to taste

The Steps

  • Trip fat from beef and quarter to spread out in crock pot
  • Combine all ingredients and pour over beef
  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours
  • Drain juice into saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes
  • While simmering sauce, shred beef for a pair of forks or potato masher
  • Pour sauce back over shredded beef and serve.

Serve with hamburger buns or kaiser rolls
